Brake Discs and Gear Levers

Post by haiiro99 »

Couple of questions for the oracle that is the ksrc-au knowledge base..

Question 1)
Have any of you guys had any experience with S3 Performance Brakes?
I'm looking at getting a set of these for the track bike and wanted to see if I'd be saving money or end up spending more if the rotors are crap.

Question 2)
I'm thinking of going reverse shift (aka GP shift) on the bike. Is there any way of doing this without grinding the front sprocket cover?

Cheers,

TB

Hey,
I just did the disk rotors and pads on the wifes 03 ZX6r, I considered the S3 gear but I went for MetalGear instead
http://www.metalgear.com.au/display.php?cPath=1472
they cost a bit more but the quality is high, my mechanic has fitted them before to other bikes and agreed with my choice, I went with their sintered pads tho my mechanic said they work well with Goodridge HH (I think) pads tho that means you dont get the warranty for the disks... The bike is great now as the old disks were badly warped! if you go for S3 let us know how they go
