New gal from Adelaide

Post by taza88 »

Hey all,

I thought I would introduce myself since I am new to the site and new to riding.

So as the heading says I'm from Adelaide (don't hold it against me lol), I'm 22 years young and am new to the world of riding. I grew up with my dad and uncle both on bikes and after a few years of driving i decided it was time to get my learners for a motorbike. I sat the test and practical and was the only chick in my class to pass first shot!

I have been riding for a few months now and am loving it. In my first week of riding on the road I hit a loose cats eye reflective lane marker and came off which was scary but made me respect my bike a lot more. I ride a 2007 Gpx250r so if anyone is selling any fairings in the red with the flame decal let me know :-p

I'm really looking forward to getting to know more motorcyclists and gettin as many tips and tricks as possible. I look forward to joining in the discussions and hopefully making some new friends.

Cheers!
Current ride - Red 2007 GPX 250R.

Thanks everyone, jonno I would love to go out on a group ride, that sounds awesome. Possum I am pretty weary of traffic in general, when I know it's cloudy or traffic is thick I throw on a high vis vest over my jacket. I look goofy but I can be spotted easier :-p
I'm pretty pleased I got back on, actually I rode home and THEN went to the hospital lol.
