Introducing ... Me!
Introducing ... Me!
Hi everyone,
I just realised I've never introduced myself. I've been a member here since May, lurking and doing a lot of reading.
Adelaide boy (man) who's travelled the world and returned home. I'd never ridden before, apart from the occasional scooter, and I got my L's around April/May this year, and picked up a bike soon after. I have a beautiful little '92 ZXR250C. It's a little banged up, as any 18 year old 250 bike would be, but it runs well enough for me.
I'm in the process of doing some minor cosmetic things (apart from a good clean), like new fairings, ss or anodised socket screws for all visible screws, cleaning polishing wheels, new grips, as I don't see myself getting a new bike for at least a few years. Hopefully the biggest investment will be time.
I'm planning to learn how to service the bike myself, for the most part. I think that's half of the reason I became interested in bikes.
I've just received the fairings, so I'll take some before and after shots and post them later.
Thanks for all the help you've given me already, and all the info you will provide in the future.
Cheers,
Matt.

I meant a new bike 'for me'. I probably wouldn't get a new bike for quite some time. Haven't had a new car yet.tim wrote:Gday and welcome! PICS!
