hey all, my names kyle i live in newcastle. i just aquired my first road bike, its a 1988 kawasaki GPX250, i thought id say hi... hope to see some other members soon :)

thanks, robracer . are there any isses/quirks these bikes have, ive noticed that it has twin front discs, all other GPX's that ive seen have singles??.. any info/help would be greatly appreciated since this is my first road bike...

I will leave that question to the Geepee experts...... but twin disk is better than one just check the minium thickness listed on the disk & measure to see if they are not worn too much + check the wear marks on the pads to see if they need replacing, the mark is a notch in the side of the pad... if that's gone so are the pads. Learner bikes such as this tend to have a hard life, but with the right maintenance they can easily last till you are ready for a bigger bike.
