So yeh, didn't quite make it to gingers unfortunately.. must've missed the guys at singo by this much!

anyways told the gps to get me to gloucester, everything going fine, nice quiet roads, plenty of cows in paddocks (moooo!) come up to a road it wants me to go down, I followed its directions as I had all morning.. then this road ends up becoming a dirt road then got really loose and rougher as I went on, no dramas tho until a right corner came up on me (apparently they don't put corner signs up for those sorta roads.. lesson learned) had a few seconds to decide whether to tip it over or keep it upright and slow as much as I could (took option 2)..
Ran wide on the exit and went up a bit of a dirt verge and collected a cattle fence.. fencepost was prolly bigger than a concrete bollard!!

When I hit the momentum carried me up n over the bars and found myself lying/hanging upside down in the barb wire.. not sure whether I banged up my hand/wrist on going over the top or from the impact.. end result was various things like drink bottles n stuff scattered around.. visor flew off and laded on the other side of the fence.. managed to slide under and retrieve everything, got the bike on its wheels again.. kicked into life again and limped it along at 20kph or so with it needing all my strength to keep it from going full left lock.. found some really nice locals who dropped me back into Gresford where at least there is phone, internet etc available.. bike is currently at the local servo/nrma/shop till it can be collected tomorrow.
All n all im happy that I only have a broken scaphoid, neck muscles a little sore today but nothing major, bike is fixable, just gotta either get forks made straight again or take them off a spare bike.. more disappointed to not make it to GC firstly and 2ndly to be off from riding for 6 weeks or so!
