Tyres in Victoria

Post by smithy5 »

I'm looking for the best (least costly) place to get tyres in Victoria. I've got about 2,000k's left on my tyres and i'm heading down for the GP in a few weeks. I reckon i'll need tyres somewhere between Lakes Entrance and Melbourne and/or via the GOR. Any recommendations....... Oh and I'll be looking for BT021 or BT023....... One of the others blokes along for the ride will also be looking tyres..... He will be chasing Pirelli Diablo Corsa or Super Corsa........ Thanks........

I'll second that. I have known Scott, since he bought the business from another bloke I knew god...I dunno...18 years ago??? 15??? Whatever, Scott is a white man and always does good work, fast and competitively. If you want a certain type of tyre, it might pay to give Scott a call and pre arrange them. I know he has loads of loops, Pirellis, Michies and Metzlers, but he might be a touch light on Bridgerocks at the moment. (03) 9561 5522

Pablos is good. (I'll third them?)
I think Brett at Madbiker is cheaper for Bridgestone but you need to order them and its the only brand he carries.

PS Brett is a sponsor so should be good for a discount.
Pablos is just off the Monash on the way to PI

Madaz have 016's for $400/set right now, they're take off's from the new Gixxers, but I reckon these are better than aftermarket ones. There are only a few sets so call to put some aside if you want them 03 97649564
