The ZZR needs a service - Melbourne

Post by Ratmick »

Hi all,

The ZZR needs a major service, in anticipation of 13 weeks of commuting 170km/day. Farking VLine/Bracks/Fast Rail.

Does anyone have any particular preference for a Melbourne Dealer that ain't going to rip me off AND have a ZZR/GPX250/something with a Kawasaki badge as a loaner (for no cost of course). Don't forget I'm a short arse...so a trailie is out.

I live 85km NW of Melbourne, and work in the dead centre of Melbourne, so somewhere inbetween/nearby would be nice.

Heard bad things about Cosways' level of servicing (which is fine by me, they're a pack of cahns anyway). Peter Stevens are no longer one of the enlightened few (and I heard their servicing was dodgy anyway). Race Replica left one of Mario's front caliper dangling in the breeze (although they did my GPX250 ok), and that mob down in Frankston that were farking around Rob(?) are a pack of cahns as well.

Brighton Kawasaki anyone? Do they offer loaners, and are they going to require my first-born as down-payment? The house is mortgaged already...

Thankings 8)

I went to brighton Kawasaki and then walked down Patterson road to the rail station...its about a 5 minute walk......so maybe that might help...and I thought Brighton were real good...

hmm i heard that the kwasaki dealer in mornington is great and one of the better priced but thats a bit outta the way.

I have only ever dealt with brighton kawaska as they were great towards a female on a bike when i first started riding.

but every one had there opinion :D

cheers
