Broken brake lever.
Turning out of the front gate at work on Friday, I didn't give it enough berries and the bike stalled. As I was already in the turn, the bike decided it would be better to lay down and have a rest, so as a result of the landing, the brake lever broke off. Fortunately there's a silver lining to every cloud and its now given me the excuse to upgrade to Pazzos. In the interim however, I decided I would still need to use the front brake so I decided to fix it. Might not even need to replace it now

Most motorcycle problems are caused by the nut that connects the handlebars to the saddle.

Re: Broken brake lever.
Sorry to hear about the off. A TRE will help avoid this problem as it gives a better map for 1st gear.
As for the fix, I doubt it will hold up to hard braking.

Re: Broken brake lever.
Its still straight, so it hasn't actually changed the position of the lever itself, so it doesn't hit anything at full lock. As you say photomike, I doubt it would hold up to a great deal of hard breaking, but I'm not expecting it to. It's just to get me to and from work for a couple of weeks until I can get a new set. Speaking of that, apart from fleabay, does anyone know where I can get a cheap set of Pazzos from?

I don't think the words 'cheap' and 'Pazzo' are ever seen in the same advertisement.....

Re: Broken brake lever.
if you really want Pazzo's you wont get much cheaper
http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Pazzo-short-leve ... 2a07dc275d
You'd save some cash with these and they are just as good
http://cgi.ebay.com.au/SHORTY-Brake-Clu ... 414fdee9cf
but for the ones Disco mentioned these are the best by far
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayI ... 0431478614
great quality and better features than the Pazzo's
