Inserting baffle into yoshi pipe

Post by Kermit »

Im interested in this CF yoshi pipe, however im a little confused on how you would secure the baffle into the muffler.

Do you secure the baffle by securing the hex screw from the inside of the pipe or would you have to drill a hole from the outside of the muffler in order to align and secure it with the hex screw.

There should be a hole in the underneath of the pipe, just forward of the outlet, if it's anything like my old Yoshi.

On the underside of the pipe near the outlet there is a rubber gromet. Pull that out and drill up through the metal. The place where the screw will go is sort of perferated and should almost pop out with the pressure of the drill. Then insert the baffle making sure the hole in the baffle lines up with the one on the pipe. Then just simply screw it all up and replace the rubber plug. All done in a couple of minutes. I did mine the other day.
