ZRX so far

Post by s man »

Well Ive had the ZRX for a few months now & have done a few things to it to make it a little sweeter.
Fitted>>>
crash knobs.
"R" gauges/dash cluster
green Kawasaki rim strips.
superbike sponge grips.
Moto-Fab advancer.
Seat foam mod.

To come
Front ractech springs
revalve fork dampers
revalve rear shocks
That should just about do I'd say. I dont want to stray away from the D&A of the ZRX, I just want to make it nicer to live with day to day, & just make it a little more personal..

Overall I just love this bike, & cant for the life of me understand why Kawasaki dropped it. :x

Pretty much Gos. We often get 3 or 4 turn up and is not unheard of to get half a dozen there so I think that could be your starting point. :D

Until recently the only time you saw a rex up there was when any of the southern crew went up to visit. Since the Oxley run (when Richo was converted by riding mine) there is now one getting around up that way. It's a bit of a hike for the southern and Canberra crews to get up there though. You pretty much have to stay the night before to get an early run in and avoid all the traffic.

For us Canberra folk, we need to make it a double overnighter! (Friday and Saturday) Im keen to do a PITS, Nasho or Putty run one weekend soon. Before it gets real cold that is.

Here is a photo from a Sunday run with the Nasho crew........You can tell it was a while ago - much modding (and other things) have taken place since this day.
