naked rear always coated in brown much

Post by 4th »

hi,

wondering if fitting a hugger cuts down on mud at all as my z750 rear is always getting coated in muck even with the gumby stock fender

not much you can do about it. Then you wash it off, and notice all the stone chips.

67-FKD is your tank cover one of those ebay saddles from france? do they fit the tank really well or is it a bit saggy & dodgy? would you rather gotten a moulded carbon tank guard instead? does it make it harder to grip the tank with your knees if it slips around at all?

Chitchats yeh i mainly commute and even without the wets the muck from all the roadworks just cakes on around the rear shock and swingarms

Mines a Bagster one great quality, cant tell you many details about cost etc as it came with the bike, but great for attaching a bagster tank bag to as well, fit is pretty good, it flaps a littllleeee around the front when the air gets under it, but with adjusting you can sort it out.

i feel its easier to grip as opposed to the smooth metal, and the paint underneath is immaculate! its only ever seen about 3 weeks of sunlight!
