He states that he fixed the leak so unless he lost more than half the fluid it would ne easier to warm it up and let the cooling suck up the coolant, however taking the tank off is no big deal, just a pain in the ass. thanks Matt - the original coolant residue is all out of the rad, but there is probably some still in the water pump.....will flush that out as well....IsleofNinja wrote:.....Should be fine Gos - A good idea before changing types of coolant is to flush the original coolant residue for a few minutes ie garden hose shoved up the lower rad' hose - in your case you could do it before you replace the hose etc......
