Progrip gel grips
Progrip gel grips
I'm looking at getting some of these but not sure which are the right ones for my model (06 636)?

Have others found these to be good grips to use?

Re: Progrip gel grips
Not sure on how good they are. Having said that, all the Progrip stuff I have used has been fantastic. I've used the dirt bike grips and they were great, I've used the anti fog visor inserts and they have been brilliant too. As for which one, 719 is the one you want Collette.

Re: Progrip gel grips
I have used them, theyre comfy but wear like crazy. I guess because theyre soft.
I took em off and put the standard kwaka ones back on, i hate the way worn grips look.
They are damn comfy though.

Thanks, Marty
Adge - when you say they wear quickly, approximately how quickly? Good to hear they are comfy.

You doofus. I've got the 601's on the 10 and they're awesome, plus they have holes to plug my streamers in....Strika wrote: As for which one, 719 is the one you want Collette.

And on the seventh day Richo ended his work which he had made. Decided resting was for soft cox, straddled the REX and headed up the old road.
And it was good

Re: Progrip gel grips
If you're not set on the Progrip, Renthal make grips in soft/med/hard and are long lasting and grippy too.. I've found them better than any other grips (progrip/domino) I've used..

Re: Progrip gel grips
I've used #699's for years... soft enough to damp the vibes without being too soft that they slip or distort.
I do lockwire them on to ensure that they don't slip and twist.
Check your selection, as some grips are closed over on the ends..ie MX style not suitable for road/race

I had the 785's on the ZZR6 and the red zx9 - loved them on the commute.
