I have read a couple of times in other places that an SV650 Rear Shock is a good upgrade for the ZZR250.
Anyone know of this?
Any other good match-ups accross models worth metioning, these sorts of lists are always usefull.

Re: interchangable rear shocks
all the 250cc kwakas are classed as EX250s
from my knowledge most EX250 parts are interchangeable.
when my girlfriend had a gpx250 , i fit an EX500 rear shock in. it was a straight bolt in.
also check out this website http://faq.ninja250.org/wiki/Main_Page
it has everything worth doing to an EX250 and how to do it.

Re: interchangable rear shocks
yes but i did. i originally asked if anyone knew if the SV650 shock was a good match for the EX250.
Then i said "any other good match-ups accross models" but should have said Makes, not Models.

Re: interchangable rear shocks
If an SV650 shock is such a good thing, why do a lot of sv650 owners fit 06/07 zx10r rear shocks to race 'twin sprints' .....

Re: interchangable rear shocks
good point, they must be rubbish. thanks for answering my initial question. I'm glad i didn't pay $40 for a new SV650 shock when it would probably have been worse than whats in my bike already.
