2000 ZX9 muffler onto 1998 ZX9 ???

Post by Sharky »

Can anyone tell me if it will fit ? The 2000 muffler is in Vic...I'm in Qld before anyone says offer it up ;)
The '98 has a Yoshi can on it and I need a stock one for the roadworthy test.

Are you sure?
The 98/99 model use a bolt on can, attached to the headers/mid pipe with a three bolted flange.
I thought the 2000-2003 used a slip on design? Don't the later model (E & F) use an exhaust with a removable mid pipe?
