Re: clock cowl
going off memory, that thing that wraps around the guages also bolts onto the side fairings and on the left there is a little ashtray type thing.
If what i said above is correct then i dont think the zzr 600 and other zzr models came out with the ashtray thing (i say ashtray but its more like a storage compartment) and the layout of the fairings and mounting points were all different. So you would have to get one for a 250 and not another model.
before someone can tell you where to look, how about you tell us where int he world you are so we can suggest someone near by, otherwise i know a good mechanic in Cyprus that could have one laying around.

If DMonkey keeps crashing his it will be in a million pieces soon and you would be able to grab his. Just in case you don't know what I'm talking about http://www.ksrc-au.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=28631

Re: clock cowl
The ZZR600 had the storage compartment on (if I recall correctly) the left-hand side. Alas the 600 is huge and bigger in every dimension compared to the 250, I doubt anything from the 600 would fit
