ZX10 FACELIFT
Thought I would share some pics of my 10R with you all, I have sold my ZX6R tracky recently as some of you might know. So now Im left with 1 road bike for occasional track duties. My first step was to purchase some aftermarket fairings (still waiting for them) so if I binned it down the track my nice new OEM fairings wouldnt get demolished. I have also decided to sell my OEM fairings to help fund for some new suspension mods. This bike is staying with me for the long haul and eventually will be a full time tracky when the time is right for me money wise. My bike should be ready in a few weeks. Here are some photos of the progress, I will post some on going pics and let you know my thoughts on how the aftermarket fairings are quality wise!

Let the good times roll.

Re: ZX10 FACELIFT
Bit of an update, Got my tank back from Gazza. Let me tell you I was blown away on how good it came out, Gazza did a fantastic job on it. Quality of the job surpassed my expectations. I have had this tank sprayed by a proffessional spray painter and Gazza blew him out of the water!
Cant thank you enough mate, top job
Here are some pics. Note the Ninja sticker, took a risk glossing it over but I think it looks awsome especially the clear finish over it!

Re: ZX10 FACELIFT
Also got my chinese fairings in on Sat. Have not fitted them yet but so far for the money, they are pretty good. The plastic doesnt feel as durable as the OEM fairings
but are good. The paint came out better than expected on the areas that can be seen, they should have dusted a couple of coats of colour on the underside of the fairings but hey for less than $560 delivered they serve there purpose. So far give them a 7/10 (10 being OEM) we'll see how they fit though.
I got them with no Decals, but put a couple of stickers of my own on. Bike is getting valve clearances checked and when I get it back I will put the fairings on.
Here's some pics

Re: ZX10 FACELIFT
Got my bike back from getting valve clearances checked, whacked some fresh oil and coolant in and put all the fairings on.
They fitted OK, had to file some holes out and it took a while to fit. The upper and mid fairings fit really good (better than expected) and the tail piece fitted good as well, the Belly pan gave me trouble and wasnt 100% but I got it to work out. All in all for the money they are OK but you have to be handy with the tools and be prepared for some fidling around. For fussy people it doesnt compare to the OEM fairings of course but for my purpose of riding around weekends and doing the odd track day with it Im happy with them. Here some pics. Still waiting for the rear seat cowl to come in.
Still think its a good Idea to fit these fairings and keep the OEM ones on the side if you do the odd rideday with your road bike, if you lowside your bike binning the aftermarket fairings won't be as upsetting!

Re: ZX10 FACELIFT
That look so hot! You must be stoked
I'd get a tank pad on fairly soon though. I had a pretty crap paint job on my tank, and my leathers wore it down a bit - I'd hate to see that happen on a really nice paint job
Wanna swap it for a 636?
