Just a quick intro, I'm Wilfred (Will, Wilf, whatevers cool) and from Sydney. Currently on my red p's and just scrapped in before they introduced the 3 year probation period (LUCKY!), so will be on fulls April this year. Been riding since February Last year so just about 12 months since I first hopped on 2 wheels.
I ride a Kawasaki Balius a.k.a ZR250, 1993 model, love it because its not so common and the 19,000rpm redline. its stock apart from rotated/lowered handlebars, bar end mirrors, clear indicators, braided front brake line, heavy duty clutch springs and a new muffler. It has a few niggles like it runs rough in hot weather and but when cool runs so so smoothly. Its mine and I love it. Big fan of Kawasaki, I just think it has a character unlike any other, but am still open minded.
Have done 3 track days so far on the little 2-fiddy, 2 at Oran Park and one at the Creek. MASSIVE MASSIVE fun! The bike gets smashed down the straight, but it holds its own in the corners and under brakes, the ZR250 isn't light either, ~165kgs so it's gonna be fun when I upgrade!...I intend to keep going, but it does get costly. Oh, I'm going to EC on the 25th! In a weeks time, can't wait! Also love riding the great roads such as the old pac and springwood etc (all sensible riding of course).
Anyways hope to learn from this forum and thanks in advance for having me.
