Re: New road rules....
The Vicroads site does not mention the advertised new rule about smoking!
As of Jan 1 2010 you cannot smoke in a motor vehicle that contains any person under the age of 18.
Penalty between 2 hundred odd and 5 hundred odd
WTF
Is the fine dependant on the brand or nicotine content

What if the person under the age of 18 is the one smoking!? Do they get fined for smoking in a car with themselves in the car?seiko1 wrote:The Vicroads site does not mention the advertised new rule about smoking!

You wouldn't be driving a car under 18 on your own in Victim wrote:What if the person under the age of 18 is the one smoking!? Do they get fined for smoking in a car with themselves in the car?seiko1 wrote:The Vicroads site does not mention the advertised new rule about smoking!

Why not? Can you not get a provisional licence from the age of 17 that permits you drive on your own, or have now changed the rules.seiko1 wrote:You wouldn't be driving a car under 18 on your own in Victim wrote:What if the person under the age of 18 is the one smoking!? [rant begins now]
You must be at least 8yo and pay Vicroads $120 before you can remove your training wheels.
I have little doubt our government would take childrens money (or their parents) if they thought they could get away with it or a powerful and out of touch individual/group(s) decided that it is a good idea.
Four hundred and something dollars for transfer fees is a joke.
What is a transfer fee for?
Changing the name of a computer system?
Is that $4xx for 5mins of data entry and filing?
If it is going to be used to used for something else, tell us!
King Nicholas. Keeping it unreal.
