i would suggest having an auto electrician have a look if you cant find someone who knows what they are doing. i have the workshop manual if you want to have a look at the wiring diagrams and have a go yourself. if you want it, pm me your email and i'll send it to you.
Most motorcycle problems are caused by the nut that connects the handlebars to the saddle.

thanks have a manual......will go up and pick it up today ......then play auto electrician this afternoon,,,, :? ,,,,,,can't wait

4 HOURS OF F###KING AROUND AND I GIVE UP
failed as an autu elect....................pulled top of triple clamp off only to discover could have achieved same result and exposed wiring by removing one small torqe head screw although very well hidden...have since soldered several combination onto the wiring plate below the key plate two leave ignition lights on even when key turned off.and bike wont fire just turns over....."obviously wrong"

third combo fires up nicely but while replacing into triple clamp noticed some excessive heat......let it cool fired up again hung onto wiring and plate ..hmmmm wont need heated hand grips radiant heat should be quite enough .....but a fire extinguisher may be necessary
