ZX12R Rearsets
Hi All,
Getting ready for the pilgrimage to Phillip Island WSBK, had a good year pay wise, so I am going to finish decking out the 12. Ignition module to partner Power Commander and a shift kit, but I am trying to track down some rearsets. I don't want to go any higher (I'm 6'6" barefoot) but would like to get the pegs back a little. I was looking at Arata but can't find anyone who brings them into the country.
Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.
Cheers,
Mick

Re: ZX12R Rearsets
howdy fellow barge rider..
you can get good reasonably priced rearsets from our sponsor www.kaneg.com.au tell him ure from KSRC for a discount..
I have had reasets on my barge but even at their lowest they are slightly higher and more rearward than standard. I went back to stock pegs, stockies are hard to scrape even at the track so they are ok and I found them heaps more comfy than reasets as I too am a massive unit, but they dont look as cool as rearsets..

Re: ZX12R Rearsets
google nui.racing and see if they still do their ZX12R rearsets for $240 delivered to Oz ! I got some of these last year - identical to Sato / Wet4U etc. and less than 1/2 the price. They work great but I am bit shorter than you at 185cm, so that could make a difference.....

Hey Mick,
I'm 6'4" and bought Sato rear sets from the States. Cost me $400AU. ( At about 80US to 1AU)They have 4 settings allows you to adjust back and down about 20mm. Felt the releif strait away
I'm looking for an importer for Sato. Need a left peg and shaft attachment. (Sort of wore mine out

Re: ZX12R Rearsets
Thanks a ton guys. Has come down to prolly Sato or Gilles, but I would still like to get a hold of a set of Arata's.
Gotta get my finger out, Phillip Island WSBK is not all that far away now.
Cheers,
Mick

Re: ZX12R Rearsets
Hey man, long time.
I ride faster now so I could give you guys a better run on that big bloody hill on the way to Cooma
.
I went out for a run with the guys from Cycle Torque, who politely gave me a few pointers on how to ride fast properly....let's say fuel economy is practically non existent these days....lol. But hey she's not a daily commuter so fuel is not an issue.
Have a great Christmas and I will look you up at the Island.
Cheers,
Mick
P.S.
Will the Green Army be where they always are at Phillip Island?

@ Roadeta
Apparently these people www.houseofspeed.com.au are the importers for Sato Racing Products in Australia.
Hope this helps.
