Dollars

Post by themaloryman »

Hi,

anybody know what I'm likely to be looking at to replace the front faring and windscreen on a 1995 ZXR250C? Also, does anyone know if you can even get specific parts for these still, and if so, where?

It fell over. :(

Cheers.

Just search for second hand parts through findapart.com.au.

Much cheaper and with a 250 almost everyone expects them to have been dropped so resprays arent an issue.

You could also look into repairing. Plastic weld then a respray. Or zip tie and tape, coz it'll probably happen again.

plastic wwelding is the way to go aslong as you know what your doing. Alot cheaper if you do it yourself. but practice first, it helps.

Now that is the relevant point!

Thanks for the tips. The other thing I talked about with a friend was cutting it back along the break (which is at the top) and smoothing it out to giving it a 'custom' look.

Which would be great until I needed to fit a new screen... :)
