My new ride

Well as of 4 weeks ago i could finally ride a bike with a capacity of more than 250cc.

I picked this little baby up for $1300 from eBay with the intention of keeping her for 6 months then getting rid and moving onto newer pastures. Unfortunatley i've grown quite attached to it so it looks like i'm going to be keeping her for a little while longer.

Plans are to

1. Paint the frame matt black.
2. Paint the fairings gloss black.
3. Paint the wheels in luminous orange.
4. Get the Kawasaki stickers in Orange.
5. Fit a single seat cowl, bike is already registered for single seater action. $250 rego each year.

Here she was when i got her. Still fitted with the rear race glass on the rear that was attached with one nut.



Took these this morning so i could get them sent to someone who may be doing me a deal on painting it.

I agree, the white is great.
I am not usually a fan of white bikes but debadged it is extra clean and looks good.
x3 on the eBay price of $1300.
I could put that on my credit card!

Thanks folks. I've spent a little bit on it since then, think about $1800 in road worthy, rego, tyres and front discs.

I'm pleased and i think i mught even change the colour to white and not black lol.

White and orange and black now there's an idea... goes away to ponder

Yep i've been stung a few times on the bay and i would say i'm experinced in using it lol.

Had a little change of mind with the colour and scheme of it.

Trying to get Photoshop working and i'll try and show what i mean.

Well thefairings go away tomorow for spraying.

Decided on sticking with the white as mine is the only one i've seen up here thats, partially, white.

Lexus pearl white will be the final colour with hopefully orange wheels (still to decide on that though)

Going back to the UK for a few weeks as well so the bike won't get a run now until after christmas

Try painting the inside of the wheels white and polishing the outside edges. Looks more trick than the fluoro wheels. Good pick up for the price.
