If it's just a slip-on can, it shouldn't be a problem - the exhaust stamp ADR was repealed quite a while ago.

Where are you ? I've just bought a Qld. bike with Micron pipe - blue slip inspection was a check of the engine/frame/VIN numbers......check lights/indicators/horn .......... and that was it !!!! Didn't even start the bike or check brakes !! It will vary with the inspector - dontknow.gif

yeah it comes down soley to the inspector, i am sure one of the locals on the forum will point you to someone who is a little bit more light with the decision making.. The government everywhere is strict on mechanics passing shit so many of them dont want to risk there licence!

Go to RTA and get their fact sheet for AUVIS (aka blue slip ) inspectors for your area. Any forum members that know a reliable blue slip inspector in your area will hopefully PM you, as well. Good luck ! ;)
