zx2r gear box

hay has any body had there gear box serviced mine is starting to slip in to nutral when going from 1st to second just wondering is it easy or is it easyer to just bolt another motor in one with less K's on it pehaps

are you just missing it ??.............check your oil too.... would not think you'd need to toss your motor out ...but if your in melb give me yell i'll have it

Mate, I'd start with an oil change using semi-synthetic oil (Motul 5100 is good) and adjust and lube your chain.

Other simple things to check include the adjustment (positioning) of the shift lever, make sure the shift lever is appropriately lubed and correctly tightened.

How many km's on the engine and 'box? Oh, and if you end up ditching the motor look up Slow and Wobbly and offer him a belated birthday present ;)

This happened to me a couple of weeks ago, mine kept getting neutrals. Good ole Tim taught me a technique where you shift and release the clutch after its in gear, Nice and smoothly!!! now i hardly ever get these phantom neutrals unless i shift extremely fast. Hope this helps.
When i grow up i want a ZX6R just like Rob Racer...
