07-09 Z1000 Fender Eliminator
Hey guys,
Im new hear. I'll be taking delivery of a Z1000 very soon, in the mean time i've been looking for bike bling, the main one being a fender eliminator.
I heard from a mate of mine that with the Z1000 (and possibly the Z750) that you should be carefull to get the correct type. He claimed that the tail section could snap or crack if the incorrect type is fitted.
I'm pretty sure I like the look of this one from Evotech.

Has anyone had experience with this, or at least heard any like this happening?
Pete

I fitted a powerbronze to mine, it is not bad but not great, it doesn't include a chain guard, you can also try www.bikemonkey.com.au/huggers/rear-huggers.html

Re: 07-09 Z1000 Fender Eliminator
I got mine from bike monkey and is model specific....I'm glad I ended up going this way because it came with EVERYTHING to do the job properly...Including blinkers and all the spacers and wiring as well as the plug's to fill in the unused holes left from fitting the FE....Cost me $160 posted I think but well worth it,If I would have got a universal one I still would have been fitting it....
