Ride Rage Radio

well, its finally happened, ride rage should be ready to broadcast to you all.

we have set up the site http://www.riderageradio.com to host the shows. rob has loaded part of last weeks show, the rest should be done by tonight.

On todays show we will be interviewing 4 times australian champion shawn giles, one of the mr nice guys of australian road racing.

hope to have all of that show up on the ney by tomorrow night.

lemme know how you go accessing it.

and thanks to those that provided the inspiration to get this up and running, you know who you are :wink:

Good stuff Phil, I'm listening to the "live" version at the moment, I'll listen to last weeks later since I missed it.

I'll send you a note about the sound quality once I've had a listen.

excellent Phil!!!!! glad to see sometning coming underway. sorry i wasn't able to help much in the past (aside from the one show that took forever to get to anyone anyway.). got yourself a little minidisc recorder to get the show from line-out or something?

nah, rob got a pentium 3 laptop that was surplus from his work, for $70.
that's what we are using to tape the show.

no line out from the panel available, so we are using the stereo in the room outside the studio

Hiya Phil, really good, enjoyed every minute, I thought he was a little hesitant at the beginning but got over it quickly, I think the conversational tone of the interview really put him at ease and was like listening to a couple of mates chat about the racing at the pub. I'd not realised he'd been around so long, and he clearly still enjoys his racing and road riding, what a legend !

From now on any guy that passes me on a 'busa is Gilesy !

i've just checked and most of the files have been uploaded, just trying to find out why the giles interview wont work for me. :cry:

anybody else able to listen to it :?:

also, check out the mick mateson interview for all you two wheels readers. The giles interview will be good for those of you who dont know much about the recent history of aussie road racing, he's done i all has mr giles.

Shaun Giles interview is now up :shock: 8) :lol:

go to the http://www.riderageradio.com site and select listen to ride rage.....

thanks to dan and dave (no 3) for their help in getting this up and running
