Tyre Pressures ZZR1100

Post by MattyB »

Quick Question, I have a 99 ZZR1100 with 180 rear and 120 front tyre, wondering what tyre pressures I should be running.
Currently have around 36 psi - is that OK?

the hoff will be along shortly...

in the meantime what tyres have u got on the big girl???

if u wanted to you could probably bump the rear up to 38-40 to increase tire life...

42 psi all round works well on my ZZR1100 with or with out a pillion . Any less and the side walls may start to flex. Give it a run and see how you get on.

id suggest around 37 front and 41 rear, but it does depend what tyre you are running

I run 38 up front, 40 rear may go to 42 on the rear if I've got a lot of luggage or a pillion.

Thanks Guys, up front I have a Battlax BT54-F 120/70 ZR and on the rear I have a Michelin Pilot Road 180/55 ZR 17
These were on it when I bought it, and will probably change when they get down a bit.
