So I call him up, and he's Ok about it and even comes to my place to fit it up, dremel, file, sand (all on my BRAND NEW raceglass!!) and I still had to custom make a seat bracket as the one supplied both didn't fit, nor allowed me to continue to use the side panels on the bike The guy told me he would make a new one and send it out to me, and seemed to take on board the design flaw that didn't allow the side panels to be used.
Never heard from him again!
Not too bothered by this as my seat mount was a far better, simpler, more functional design than his anyway.
And now, would never buy raceglass from there again either.....
In the mean time, on another forum, a topic comes up asking about raceglass, and I tell the above story like this...
"I just got Raceglass, price was on par with others, quality was not good, bad finish, bad fit.
However, when alerted to the poor product, the guy came to my house from Bayswater and modified it to fit better, not perfectly, but acceptable. I still had to custom make a seat bracket myself though."
So, 2 weeks ago I lay the bike down at PI

I arrive at the workshop in the arvo, and say I'm there to pick up the screen I had rang earlier about. He say's "what's your name again?" and I tell him.
He says...
"I'm not gonna sell this to you(as he takes the screen and walks towards the back of the workshop)" and I'm like wtf? Why not??
He says, "I saw what you wrote on that forum, and I'm not gonna sell it to you"
I tell him I wrote what happened, he blames my bike being bent for the raceglass not fitting and then says "get the f#ck out of here".
I say "well, that's gonna get you more good feedback isn't it!"
I laugh and walk out, not concerned as the bikes being sold, I will just tell the buyer to arrange the new screen for himself.
What a way to win customers!
So now I'm gonna warn as many people as possible about how this guy treats his customers when he gets some negative criticism.
