Now on a ZX9
Now on a ZX9
G'day,
I am now the very happy owner of a 1998 ZX9R, which is a credit to it's previous owner. Looks like it just came off the showroom floor, except for the full Hindle system and few engine mods (cam, K&N filter, advance timing plate etc).
I've also just moved to Toowoomba from Sydney, so I'm looking for a few new mates for rides.
Cheers
Steve

G'day redeye.
You've found the right place - there's lots of 9-love here
I'll give the second "ya gotta love the 9"
Hope to see you around some time. There's two regular Sunday rides (north - old pacific highway & south - royal national park) so check out the Rides and Get Togethers forum, and feel free to post up a ride if there's somewhere you want to go and I'm sure you'll make some brand new riding mates

Welcome fellow C Model owner!

2004 ZRX1200R
And on the seventh day Richo ended his work which he had made. Decided resting was for soft cox, straddled the REX and headed up the old road.
And it was good

Thanks guys. Yes 1,000km is a bit far for a Sunday ride up a road I've done a hundred times. Used to live in Hornsby.

Re: Now on a ZX9
Welcome, good to see you've seen the light and moved to the Darling Downs, I grew up near Clifton
There's a few roads near Twmba. You could try Flagstone Creek Rd (tight and twisty but take care). The New England highway towards Warwick turn at Hodgsenvale and go towards Preston Peak Winery. Or keep going on the highway towards Warwick and take the turn off for the Darling Downs Zoo (just before the Clifton turn off) and go through Pilton and the Spring Creek Rd (twist and narrow) and comes out just east of Gatton then back up the range to Toowoomba. Could also go north towards Crows Nest.
There are plenty of country roads that take you out through the farming areas in the region, just be wary of gravel roads and overtaking on single lane roads
Your also only about an hour from Warwick and the track at Morgan Park
