Mate, they look awesome, we'll have to have a chat about them at Halls Gap as i have no number plate light on the 9 due to me mounting the plate so high it wouldn't fit

Dunno if they'd pass RWC or not mate, I got my RWC with the old fender assy on it then took it off.

I put the 2 bolt lights at the top, I have seen pics of bikes with 4 of them. Mine are the s/steel domed head ones but I think I may be replacing them with black ones  They look good and are fairly easy to install.

cheers

I had a set of these on the barra. Depends on how picky your RWC inspector is, but strictly speaking they shouldn't pass.

If you cover the taillight, the plate cannot be read. I didn't care because the taillight is always on anyways. The LEDs only throw light about 1 inch from them. This is because the LEDs slot straight up the center of the bolt and fit right into the domed top. The light comes out a wedge cut from the side of the head, and since most of the light from an LED comes out the top the illumination is rather poor. I think there is other versions which mount the LED sideways instead and these would throw a lot more light. Either way they look trick :kuda:

my tail light is my plate light, so if mine goes out im stuffed!!!

FYI the J series 5 and presumably the g series 6 and similar era 9s all use a clear section at the bottom of the tail light to throw white light over the plate...
