ZX12R or ZX10R?
Ok people, I would like opinions on which bike would be better suited to me, Iam 6' tall and weigh 95Kg and a reasonably good rider, maybe (depends on who you talk to).

re: ZX12R or ZX10R?
That's like comparing apples and oranges IMO..
1 bike is twice the size of the other... all depends on what you wanna do..
The ZX10 is the size of a 600, and the ZX12 is the size of a... ZX12.. lol
What do you want to ride? which suits your style.. will you go through more tyres on the 12? will you be loading it up and going away? in which case maybe the 12..
all depends on you, not us.. IMO.

I dont know if this is true, perhaps some of the other 12R owners can answer but apparently they are expensive to service?
Why not the Z1000?
Why not the Z1000?
Nothing At All.
re: ZX12R or ZX10R?
i voted for the 10R just to get the vote numbers up for it, but i'd really have to vote for the 12R..... you'd fit that nicely i'd say and not have to compromise too much on touring comfort....
like it's been said tho.... go test them all, i mean really TEST them all (it's what i did when i went 600 scouting) and you'll know instantly which one you would KILL for... i did!

I voted for the ZX10r.
Nice new kwaka model on the market. I dont know many people that can ride a 1000cc to its full potential. So for a bike that is as small as a 600 u'll have a ball compared to a ZX12r IMO.

Scotty
on the road (and thats where we ride most)
imo, a 12r is better than a 10r
a 12r is quicker and faster than a 10r
and handles better (according to the mags)
a 10r is manic and hard to ride smoothly
go the 12r
besides I like the 12r to look at.....
cheers

re: ZX12R or ZX10R?
In drags the 12 would be better as the longer wheelbase and more weight aid in launching hard, come roll-ons in a straight line the 10 would say seeya, well at least up until 285-290.
The 12 is more stable due to the weight and wheelbase but would not have a chance in corners.
I would say get a 12 if you plan on being more of a sedate rider.
I've found the 10 to be quite comfortable with the exception of the slightly hard suspension, much more comfortable than my previous bike (sp1).

Id say that depends on the road,on a smooth, slow(below 240kph) road or race track the 10 would be better but the 12 is better at high speed blasting and the not so smooth roads.
There built for differnt things if you want a track bike go the 10 for road the 12. Damn i say keep your zzr buy a 10 and a 12 then you will have every base coverd.
