another helmet lock

Hey,

As you know I keep my eye out for all sorts of bike related accessories. Today I've found another item called Boltlock - http://www.boltlockcorp.com - looks pretty good. Thought the price was ok too but there are plenty of cheaper options but probably less secure. Local distributor is http://www.rocketman.com.au

Any thoughts? Anyone had any experience with this?

The chances of me leaving an $800 helmet strapped to the parked bike are NONE no matter how safe the lock is, I have heard of people getting back to their bike & finding rubbish stuffed inside & same thing applies to riding with a helmet dangling from the bike.... it will never happen. saw a dude leaving the shops a couple of days ago & the first corner he encountered the helmet spun around his loss when he discovers the visor scratched to buggery

prob not the safest thing to use in all public places, but could come in handy.
buell had the awsome idea of having a compartment for your helmet where the petrol tank is....
but they had the space to do this, you would prob need your tank aye
