1985 GPZ GPX 600r whats the diff

what is the differance between these models?
can i use the parts off one for the other?

Chasis wise they are quite different. The engines are very similar, only real difference is the head on the GPX has better design valves & intake so is more powerfull (10hp). I'm not sure if a GPX head can be bolted straight onto a GPZ engine, nor if the CDI / rev limits are different, but most likely are interchangable.
