Parts required for 250 in Melbourne

Post by unit »

Hi all.

I managed to twist my knee while getting off the bike and dropped it on its left side.
Fortunately the fairing was completely undamaged and the only items that did get damaged were the indicator, the clutch lever and the gear lever.
I am in need of an idea on second hand parts prices for my 250 and where to call for them in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne.
Can anyone point me in the right direction?

I have 2 flush mount indicators you can have for $40

you can get aftermarket levers for about $15 - $25 from most wreckers

The rear set mount is bent in . Unit , take the rear set off and bend the steel mounting point back out straight . Try putting a large shifting spanner onto the mount to bend it out . Gear lever is steel too , so after the mount is made straight and you reattach the rearset , check how the lever is and if need be , you can bend it straight , but it should be fine . :D
Take the clutch lever off and take it to a spares counter at any GOOD bike shop and they will match it for you . A kawa shop might even have an orange lens for the indicator , you could always just replace the lens only .
