Re: MY NEW BABY!!!!
the kawasaki logo is incorrect, so either the bike used to be a different colour and was resprayed a) becasue it could be of b)because it was crashed...
as long as its been repaired well then there is nothing to be worried about...
the 3rd option is that the tank itself may have just been damaged and resprayed and had the dodgy kawasaki graphic applied...

Re: MY NEW BABY!!!!
Yeah it's an 00 model (or 01) - so paint might be ok. Decals are different as others have said.
Still - looks nice. Just needs a dark double bubble and an akro system

Re: MY NEW BABY!!!!
You'll need to change you nickname to "E1Raven" now mate!!!
Yep, bolt on subframe says the frame is an E Model. Nice bikes those! I did 50,000klms on mine before selling it to another guy who's still going on it 12 months later! They are bullett proof. Not sure how tall you are, but to get it to steer really nice, use the little rear ride height screw adjuster and crank the arse up 10-15mm from standard. I ran this set up on mine and it turned like a good one but it never made it unstable at all!!
If the front brakes pulsate a little...live with it. They all do it, even after new discs!!
You'll spend money and time chasing it, only to have them pulsate again 2K later
