Flat platforms - rear stand

Post by Razza »

Hey,

I just bought a rear stand from kaneg to use on my 08 ninja 250 and the 10mm spools they sent dont seem to fit, i can screw them in half a turn by hand but im not keen to use the allen key to force them as the last thing i wanna do is fk up the thread ;)

They also sent me a pair of flat platforms to use as an alternative but i have no idea where they go. lol i would take a photo of them but i dropped my camera last weekend so its useless.
Its probably about a 12cm long solid bar with a clip on it about 4 cms up from the end and a spring behind the clip and then on the other end theres a big black plastic part that looks like a giant stove top knob!! LOL best description ever! ;) :D

so yeah...anyone know how 2 use these things??

cheers

Yep

You replace the hooks on the stand with these. Adjust them to thewidth of your swingarm, then you place these under your swingarm and lift away.

The spools are more secure though. A bikeshop should have the right ones.

As Glen said regarding the flats.
Regarding the spools - just talk to Kaneg again. He'll sort you out.

If you have no fear, you're not going fast enough.
Never argue with an idiot. He'll drag you down to his level, then beat you with experience.
