ZX6R exhuast slip on

Post by jimersees »

Hey guys,

Im looking a buying at Two Brother exhuast slip on but would like to know if i get the mid pipe section with it or do i have to make one up?? and how would performance be like?

Also i understand tthat the rear fender would have to be altered. Would i have to buy a new rear fender?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

thanks

What year model 6 Jimmy? The can should come with the link pipe, performance should increase slightly at the top end and probably decrease a little down low. Generally if you need a new fender one will come with the can too.

Hey guys,

Ohh yeah forgot to put the year  my bike is a 05.

I had a look around and have seen the 2 muffler underseat 2 bros but not sure which way to go. Wat would be the pricing on a single muffler and a dual muffler?? and where can i get it from?

any benefits with the dual muffler over the single can??

sorry for the questions?

Cheers

Jimmy

Don't apologise for asking questions mate!

As Six Addict posted, you probably won't get much change from 1K. And that's for the slip-on, not the full system.
The exhaust for the '05- '06 ZX6 is only available in the dual can, not the single. You can get it in aluminium, titanium and carbon fibre (listed from cheapest to most expensive).
You can see some pics of my '06 with the 2 Bros, as well as other exhausts that suit the '05 - '06 636 here
Apparently, there are many suppliers in Australia that can now get you the Two Brothers - when I got mine, there were no suppliers that I could find and so I was forced to import from the US. It comes with a fender eliminator. The indicators that come with the kit suck - the bulbs couldn't be changed so if you blew one, you needed to get new indicators.
Also, be aware that the fender eliminator bracket vibrates a lot - you may end up going through a few sets of after-market indicators before you find one that doesn't break /split due to the vibrations. If you do - let me know
