Farken HEAT!!

Post by javaman »

What's worse than riding in 42 degrees? ... Well, having an accident in 42 degress :x

Another rear end while waiting for traffic to clear, only as this is my 3rd time I'm used to the wtf -> floating sensation -> helmet scrub sound :?

Bike is okay and ridable, engine died just in front of the garage (thanks kwaka..). Cosmetic damage. Body is fine but dizzy and shaken.

This gotta stop...! I got to commute myself in a CAR :x

Mate, I've never met anyone with so much bad luck in traffic! It's either something you're doing wrong, or it has something to do with people trying to rack up points on the "Smash into the back of Java" website....

At least you're ok.

Bugger!

Hope you are ok and that the damage is minimal!

Yeah 3 times... Anything after this are "extra"

It is correct that either there is something wrong with my riding, or there is something wrong with the driving population. But either case can get me dead or vegetable one day.

And by the way, I do not see significant skill required to "stop and wait for traffic in intersection/roundabout" :?

But that's pretty much everyday in melbourne

Honestly... any crash I'm walking awat from is a "lucky" crash.

Talk about being unlucky, I had also the experience of my bike knocked off *twice* in the parking lot at work. And it's a special bike park too

Recreating the event in my mind, it went something like this: left turnoff from Warrigal rd. to Nepean hwy, I was second from the front. The car in front took off so I moved to the front, stopping to look for traffic from the right... BAM! Perhaps the driver behind me expected me to move on or also looking to the right. Although reckless this seems like a mistake anyone can make :? On the positive note it was a good driver. Stopped, accepted fault, made sure I'm ok and waited for me to start the bike and took off. The damage was minimal but I have not checked thoroughly.
