changed my original pelican beak front gaurd today.
the new guard is off a 98 zx6r.

doesnt look to bad and its only in primer (grey) for the moment , it was red.
will post some pics when its been sprayed and matches the rest of the bike. thanx to daisy for the inspiration.

Re: looks better i think
That looks good Gazza. Why don't you paint the rest of the bike Australian Racing Grey to match it

2004 ZRX1200R
And on the seventh day Richo ended his work which he had made. Decided resting was for soft cox, straddled the REX and headed up the old road.
And it was good

3 problems with painting the beast australian racing grey!!!!!
No.1
would need a fair few cans of paint, that colour aint cheap you know

No.2
the problem with the spraying with the can technique is that you can do some real damage to the index finger through to much cramping.
No.3
the finish that is produced from australian racing grey is rough to the touch and would not be very aero dynamic hence slowing my lap time down
significantly.

Lol, golf balls are dimpled because they spin. Allowing them to push air out of the way. I'm assuming you don't want fairings spinning. Hehe.corvus2606 wrote:ever wonder why golf balls are dimpled.Gazza wrote:No.3
