Got my Ps .. w00t!
hey all, did my test yesterday and can finally take the Ls off the baby ninja.
bloody exhausting day. sore from the experience. Of course, it didnt help that I stacked the bike twice. lol.
actually, i reckon the Ps test is twice as easy as the Ls test.

Re: Got my Ps .. w00t!
thanks guys..
second incident was the last test i did - braking exercise. i was going too fast, grabbed the brakes too hard and flew about a metre clear the bike.
luckily i got another chance to do the test over again. instructor said i had good skills. if anything i was a bit "too" confident. the last test i was going a lot faster than i had to.
yea, dont you think Ps are easier to get than Ls? or is it just me?
on one of the exercises, i got a bit too cocky scraping the foot peg and my boots until on one occasion i "leaned" so much that my foot got caught under the peg, spun the bike around and had it land on me. painful. instructor said i did well to hang onto to the bike.Blurr wrote:did you reakky stack the bike?????????????

Re: Got my Ps .. w00t!
Dude mine has the same prbolem with the heat {well i did, had a cracked radiator} and you dont really ride long enough to heat the bike up, the main problem i had was it was always cold so it wanted to stall, so i had the rev it more at the start, haha thought i was a hoon probably. But I can say Penrith regatta do a good job and rouse hill, {did the l's at rouse hill & p's at Penrith} both are friendly people and relaxed aswell, they know not to stress people out haha.fadz90 wrote:congrats mate,

1. as you mentioned, it'll heat up doing low speeds all day long
2. you'll find that your bike (and yourself) wont be insured for accidents
their bikes are designed for handling the low speed/heat and have cages in case of stacks. unlike getting your Ls, you can stall it as many times as you want but you might look like a bit of a c*ck if you do too many times. if you have done some riding (maybe above 1000km) you should have more than confidence to get the Ps. but as i said, rules may be different in nsw.

hrmm, i was thinking at clyde? lol
but then again on a week day and traffic on parra road? lol
how many laps do you have to do for the practise sessions, i just want to get a fair idea so i know if i have to hire a bike or use my own. because once it turns of, forget the test, its a mission to start it again.

Re: Got my Ps .. w00t!
I'm pretty sure binning it is an instant fail in NSW, yet alone binning it twice. Whilst it's funny so sit back now and laugh, if old mate rides on the road like that he's going to end up under a bumper bar in no time. Also, I personally think you should do a shit-load more than 1000 km's on your L's before you're ready to do your P's, but that's just me.Blurr wrote:I cant believe you can bin it at the test and still pass!!! Congrats on getting your license dude, now ride carefully and stay alive long enough to be become a good rider.... and once you learn how to, can you teach me too
