Hi All :

Post by Hatchd »

Hey guys,

I'm currently wanting a new Z1000 after my little sample at the Race replica demo day. I've had a few kwakas over the years.
Gpx250, Gpz900R, ZX12R all long term, and a taste of a ZX6R and ZX9R for a few weeks in between.

The 12R was sold off about 3 yrs ago and I think I'm now ready for a fun and comfy bike which the Z has written all over it.
I'm wanting to buy new and still undecided over the colour.
Orange-black or White-silver ?

I'm also waiting to see whether a cash back deal becomes available on the Z's. I'm monitoring the K web site daily. LOL
So anyways just intoducing myself and hope to be back on 2 wheels soon. :)

if you're wanting a cashback offer on an 09 plated model you may be waiting a while, maybe there will be cashback deals on 08 plated models soon but im not sure...

anyway wounds like you've got green blood so you will fit in well around here 8)

And on the seventh day Richo ended his work which he had made. Decided resting was for soft cox, straddled the REX and headed up the old road.
And it was good

Thanks for the welcome guys :)

Richo I love that one above in the pic. But I think it's an OS model...
Would be clearly my top pick.
Best ride away price anyone on the 09 ?

that model is in AUS hatchd, check the aus kawa website... best rideaway... not sure... check bikesales.com.au, actually a lot of newbike listings on there... will at least give u a start point id imagine it'd be around 15k.... but thats a semi-educated guess....

15k brand new ? You cn pick up a ZX10R 08 for almost $15k now
I would say a newish Z 07/08 would be most around the 13-14k mark. they hold there value well, 03 and 04 are still fetching 9-10k

yeah but the 15k for the ZX10R is heavily heavily discounted!!!!!!! they are 18990+ORC really

heres a link that shows the RRP for a Z1000, both you and i are right saki, you can get it for cheaper than 15k but 15k is RRP

I hear the New z1000 is a bit too "city". Its been toned down from the older model with smaller injectors and basically isnt as punchy as the older model!

Dam the Crim and Gubby are dropping in price! I think Six Add, when it comes time for your man bike, u will get it for peanuts!
