New boots for Zoot

Post by esie »

I had M3's put on Zoot this morning, unfortunately the only riding I can do today was heading home via Logan Rd, rather than the M1.

Took it easy, but my God does the bike tip in easily now!

Can't wait to get out and have a proper ride!
Cheers,
Anne

Hey esie! Geez Ur everywhere! I found the same thing with Pilot Powers, Tips in great and ample stability at speed on sharp bends, even with the cheap Z750 front end it was a great improvement on overal feeling through the bars and i found i wasnt fighting as hard to stay smooth. Am set on buying a set of M3's to try out to make my own mind up, but they have been getting great reviews.

How have they worked out esie? I'm up for a new rear and deciding between M3's and Pilot Powers so would love to hear how they go on the Z.

I really enjoyed the M3's on the Z750. It was always a very nimble bike, but the M3's but it into a new class of nimbleness! Jeff runs PP's on his '03 Z1000 as he both commutes and plays on the weekend, and he is really happy with them. He also loved the M3's on the Z750, reckons they made the bike turn on a dime and really changed the "rideability". He says that if he didn't commute he would have the M3's on the Z1000.
Cheers,
Anne
