Re: reserve tank
For an approximate calculation, look at the ratio of your main tank to reserve. For instance, our little ZZR 250 has an 18L tank ; 16L main, 2L reserve. It'll get 300km out of the main.
So: 300km / 16L = 18.75km/L out of the main tank.
Then, multiply this by the size of the reserve tank, in this case, 2L.
So: 18.75km/L x 2L = 37.5km is the approximate range of the reserve tank.
What's the size of your main / reserve tanks???
So: 300km / 16L = 18.75km/L out of the main tank.

220km / 15L = 14.67km/LCwidova wrote:i think it 17 ltr with a 2 litre reserve....it a '06 zx636
14.67km/L x 2L = 29.3km
Remember, this is approximate. This will also vary depending on how you rode during that tank of fuel.

Re: reserve tank
My ZZR600 once got me from Altona (cnr Miller rd and Westgate freeway) to Sunshine, bit of cruising around Sunshine looking for a house then back to Cnr Springvale rd and Police rd in Springvale, nfi how many k's it is but is a fair old distance, expected to die at any time but got back to where I neded to go

A good mate will bail you out of jail, a true mate will be sitting in the cell next to you saying "Damn, we fucked up!!!"
