Plod Radar

Post by Richo »

Now, not that any of us exceed the speed limits ....

Butttt .... just say, on the odd instance, im sliiiiightly exceeding around a corner with a plod comin the other way ...

Now I know they like setting up in the straights, but Ive heard they cant get a fix on the mobile radar on corners ????? ..

Is this right? ...

And on the seventh day Richo ended his work which he had made. Decided resting was for soft cox, straddled the REX and headed up the old road.
And it was good

I thought it was more like 1 second. And if getting your speed by pacing you, it has to be at least 800 metres. In NSW anyway...
I reserve the right to be wrong at any time.

Let me just say this....

There is a big difference between what is actual fact, and what your mate (or your mates mate) thinks are the facts.
There is a big difference between Police General Orders (guide lines) and legislated requirements.

I'm more than happy to discuss any of these matters in person. But since I'm on holidays, that's the end of any work discussion on here.

The bloke at the end of the bar at my local (he would never lie to me  ) once told me that the radar has to take 3 readings, however long that takes, and also that it can only take readings in a straight line. Everyone seems to have a theory on these things and more often than not they are miles off the mark!
This beer is making me AWESOME!
