Despite only having one disk on the front that looks like an old ZZR1000, were they named differently in the US?

The ZZR600 used to be called the ZX-6 (without the R) until about '05 or '06 when they replaced the old ZZR shape with the J series 02-spec ZX-6R...then they started calling the bike a ZZR600.

Hadn't spotted the disc (too busy dry retching, I suppose). It's a GPZ1100, sold in the US as a ZX1100E; detuned ZZR1100 engine, different cams and carbs, shorter wheelbase... Image

Doesn't look too bad for a mid-90s bike. The ZX-11 mentioned in the advert would make sense given the ZX-6/ZZR600 naming.

I am assuming you have seen dragbikes and are asking why someone would do this to a road bike when they arent going to drag it ?

Just because you can ride, doesnt mean you should. My reason on this earth is an example to others what NOT to do.

One look at the guy on the bike answers all the questions. I asked a guy who did this to a zx14 what about going around corners and he said we don't have any corners here for 200 miles!

Yeah - it's not like a race-replica, where at least you can reap the benefits whenever and wherever you ride. Once you've done the drag-rep bling-king thing, it's going to handle like crap.
