Axle issues

Post by DaveGPz »

Odd question...

Is the rear axle on a late model ('95) GPz1100 reversable? The castellated nut sticks out a long way on the right, and I'm worried about it fouling the Yoshimura can. If the axle was reversed, the castellated nut would be on the left (no muffler) and the flat axle head would be on the right. Problem solved (if it's doable).

Should make no diff unless the axil is stepped, If the axil is one diameter the entire length then it will be perfectly ok to swap sides.

Cheers... I'll drop it out tomorrow, and have a look. Now I think about it, I've got the manual as a .pdf - but it is in German. Pictures should translate OK. :D
