This is the most scary intersection indeed, especially if you're coming from warrigal rd. turning left to nepean hwy. Hard to look right and the drivers behind being impatient and all :?

My mum lives right there where it happened, apparently it was a black bike (like mine) so she rang me worried thought maybe I was planning an unannounced visit.
She is a nurse and said it really did'nt look good at all, :(

Unfortunately saw another too this afternoon on high street reservoir.. only people there were cops there, and a bloke sweeping up all the broken bits.. the bike (suzuki) pretty well destroyed, looks like it was hit by a car.. but saw neither a car or victim near by - most likely gone to hospital. Let's hope it was only a precautionary visit.

Too close to home... wife's on a ZZR600 because someone drove through a red light and killed her Honda (silver lining?). Broken bones heal eventually, but the driver gave the cops a false address.

unfortunately the rider was killed despite paramedics working on him. Hit the median strip and lost control.
My wife also saw it and rang me to see if it was someone I knew. She didn't see any other car around so it may be a one-vehicle crash.
Condolences to his family and friends. There was a vigil there tonight when I passed by.
