). The major funding source for the Motorcycle Council of New South Wales is a contract to mark out and control camping sites at the Bathurst V8 Racing weekend in october.
Currently the MCC requires people to help escort campers to there sites over the 9 days leading up to the race - 4th to 12th October (There are already sufficient volunteers for marking out the sites).
The most hectic period is the last 4 days so even if you cant do the whole 9 days any help that you can provide would be appreciated.
Volunteers receive $60 per shift to cover costs. They also receive a shirt, free camping and an entry ticket to the race. Some pit passes are also available.
Camper vehicles are escorted to the sites using quads so it would be useful to take a helmet with you (required by police on site).
