Finally my 250R

Post by fireyrob »

Its taken ages but its been worth the wait! My 08 Ninja 250R delivered today!!! Thanx Flywheels for the deal... Fender Eliminator has been ordered but in the meantime Ill stick with the skinny mudguard as opposed to the square plate that Kawasaki sent...

Goes well for a learner and I dont think itll be too long before Im used to it and ready for the riders test as its my daily!

They do look damned good, but I still think it's crook that they're not bringing the green one here. How did the missus take the unexpected arrival?

I told the misses last week when I was on night shift at work! hahaha So didnt have to face her for 2 days so she had cooled off somewhat... Im not sleeping in the garage tonight so thats a plus :)

Rides well. Brakes solid, handles brilliantly. Acceleration good for a 250 but will be hanging out for something bigger in 12 months time Im sure!!! Great starter bike!!! Can't find the fuel reserve switch... Dont think it has one??? Can anyone help me here?

Oh and Im sure they are waiting till 2009 for the Green & Blue...

You might want to think about changing those keys around a bit Rob - the dunnydore key will scratch the shit out of your triple clamps and make 'em look shit. Good news on the sleeping arrangements too ;)

You've got a fuel guage so itll probably have a low fuel light when you've got about 50klm's left in her

Very nice piece of gear though. Congratulations
